Its durable design ensures that it withstands the adventures of both water and land, making it an ideal companion for those who cherish the wild and untamed nature of the sea.

✦Green diamond shaped sea glass set in sterling silver, collected in Devon.
✦Complimentary silver chain 18 inches / 45cm

Glowing Kelly green is a favourite of many collectors and one of the easier colours to find. It was a mass produced colour for bottles during the second half of the 20th century, by manufacturers including 7up, Sprite, Heineken and Schweppes. It was not used so much prior to the 1950s so most pieces will date from the late 1900s. This colour was created by adding copper and iron to the molten glass mix, giving a range of green tones from rich to pastel depending on the thickness of the shard.
