The Idea

Victoria Grace Silversmith was born out of a desire to create a range of ethical piercing jewellery for those wanting unconventional, fine quality jewellery, sustainably handcrafted just for them, from eco-friendly materials.

When developing my design aesthetic I was inspired by the ancient Viking rune Ægishjálm the Helm of Awe. Originally drawn between the eyes it was said to be used to conquer fear in one's own heart, as well as inspire fear in ones enemies during conflict. Ultimately, the power makes one irresistible in ones endeavours be they adventure, exploration or struggle.

I try to imbue all of my pieces with this spirit as I make them, and hope that in wearing them you will feel the power of protection and irresistible success in all your endeavours!

Style & Quality

I see each piece I create as a mini sculpture, a tiny work of art. Something that when you see it, you know it was meant to belong to you. Something you love wearing, that fits just right, that excites you yet makes you feel at home.

I am inspired by the natural world and love using shape and textures in my work. I aim to capture this wild spirit as I work making jewellery from raw materials, for you to continue your journey with.

I use recycled silver and solid gold, as well as natural gemstones and hand collected sea glass, to make each piece of jewellery myself in my studio in the English countryside. The pieces are sculptural, authentic and distinctive, made using traditional techniques and tools. I aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible with recycled/recyclable packaging and local sourcing of materials where possible.

As I make each piece myself, it is lovingly and carefully crafted. Made in Britain and designed by me, each piece is luxury, rare, made to last a lifetime and beyond. An escape from mass-production overseas and disposable fast fashion.
